We need answers! Take Action!
As we
await the release of the Request for Proposals from the Office of Children and
Family Services, the answers that we have about the future of CCR&R funding
are outweighed by the number of looming unanswered questions.
- Are cuts truly being made across the board, or will other programs remain whole while CCR&Rs are cut?
- What determined this unexpected 5% statewide cut?
- Where is the remaining funding that was set to be allocated to CCR&Rs going?
We
must question the state’s funding priorities. CCR&Rs provide
invaluable services to parents and child care providers. This group of
tax payers deserves answers!
Now is NOT the time to cut services to young children and
families!
